Colorado Forest Sculpture

Often overlooked as weeds or litter on the forest floor, these works are the branches, bark or roots of native Colorado trees and shrubs. These creations are sculpted by flora, fauna, and weather and are a simple yet elegant way to  bring your love of the outdoors into your home. And, for every sculpture sold, I make a donation to the Colorado State Forest Service so they can plant a new tree.

The photos on this page represent only a few of my Forest Sculptures. For a complete catalog of the available pieces, please visit my Etsy Store.

The Heliotropes

Each started out life as a branch from a Cottonwood tree, twisting and stretching as necessary to reach for the sun through its neighbors. These highly sculptural branches are then cleaned up, reinforced and interpreted by me into their final forms and finishes.

The Resilience Series

These works are made of pieces of wood burned in Colorado wild fires and are a testament to the resilience of nature and the people who were so tragically impacted.
